Gelimer, First of His Name, the Usurper, King of the Alans and Vandals.

After Hilderic managed to successfully irritate all the powerful Vandal nobles around him, his cousin, Gelimer took advantage of the situation and overthrew him in the dead of night.

Unfortunately for Gelimer, Hilderic had a powerful friend named Justinian who ruled the mighty Eastern Roman Empire that didn’t appreciate his friend being dethroned. Witness a series of questionable decisions that leads to the extinction of the once feared Vandal Kingdom.
